The Schönau Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of the Zug Water Protection Association treats around 20 million cubic metres of water from numerous industrial and commercial companies and around 170 000 inhabitants. In 2023, HOLINGER, as overall lead planner, completed the projects for the renovation of the digestion plant, the construction of a new primary sludge thickening plant, the construction of a new biogas treatment plant and the installation of an emergency power generator and heat pump.
